Battery Does Not Work

When brand new disposable vapes are not working there could be a problem with the battery. If the battery of your vape does not work, it could mean that you are not pressing the firing button enough times. If the battery does not turn on after one click, try clicking it 3, 5, or 6 times in quick succession to see if this works. Usually, the number of times you need to click it will be written in the manual that comes with the device, so make sure to read it to see how many times you need to press the button.

Another common solution is that the device might need to be charged. If it needs to be charged, the vape will let you know as soon as you plug the USB charger into the vape.

Finally, if using a box mod, it’s important to check the connection between the tank and the battery. Unscrew the tank from the mod, and using a Q-tip, clean the threading between the tank and the mod. This should solve the problem.

Getting Burnt Tasting Hits

If you are getting burnt hits, make sure you have primed the coil. Recently changing your vape juice or adding vape juice without priming the coil is normally the number one reason for burnt hits.

If you primed the coil but are still getting dry hits, make sure to let the coil saturate the vape juice. Leave the vape alone for ten minutes and allow the coil to soak in vape juice.

Another reason might be that you need a new coil. Used coils taste pretty bad once they no longer work, and this is another reason for burnt hits.

Tank Is Leaking

If your tank is leaking, there’s a good chance that you overfilled your eliquid tank. In most tanks, there is a limit that tells you where you should stop filling the tank. Usually, by staying near this limit, your tank won’t leak.

Another reason for a tank leaking is that the O-rings could be damaged. Disassemble the tank and make sure the O-rings are not damaged or dirty. If they are, clean them or replace them. The box the vape device came in usually has spare O-rings.

Finally, make sure that that glass tank is not cracked; if it is, you might need to buy a new tank.

Not Generating Enough Vapor

One common reason why vapes don’t generate enough vapor is that they are running out of battery. Make sure to charge it before using it again.

Another reason might be that you are using the wrong device. Generally, pod systems, because they use nicotine salts, don’t generate too much vapor. If your goal is to create massive clouds, you might need a box mod.

Finally, the VG/PG Ratio is important. Generally, the more VG, the more clouds and vapor you will create. The more PG, the fewer clouds will be created. An 80VG/PG and up ratio will usually yield awesome clouds.

I’m Getting a ‘No Atomizer’ Sign

A ‘NoAatomizer’ sign is a rather complex subject. If you experience this problem, check out our in-depth guide on how to fix this problem right here: How To Fix a “No Atomizer” or “Check Atomizer” Sign In Your Vape: 7 Quick Fixes

Not Feeling a Throat Hit When Vaping

The most common reason for this is that you are using the wrong type of vape juice. Nicotine salts are the best type of nicotine used to get a throat hit. Your problem could be that you are using traditional vape juice instead of nicotine salts.

Another problem could be the VG/PG ratio. The more PG in the ratio, the more of a throat hit you will feel. The more VG, the less a throat hit you will feel. So if you want a harsher vape, we recommend at least a 50VG/50PG ratio in your vape juice.

Finally, it could be that you are not using enough nicotine. In vaping, more nicotine means more of a throat hit, so keep this in mind when choosing your nicotine level on your next vape juice.

Getting Spitback or Tasting Vape Juice When Vaping

If you are getting spitback, hearing gurgling noises when inhaling, or tasting vape juice, the first thing you should do is flick the vape device outside toward the ground. This will get rid of any excess vape juice in the tank. Make sure to hold it tight when flicking so it does not go flying toward the ground.

Vape Device Is Not Charging

If the vape device is not charging, our first suggestion is to buy a dedicated USB wall adapter with a USB charging cable. Sometimes using your computer or phone charger does not always work.

If the issue is not the charger, it might be that the threading which connects the battery to the mod could be dirty. Using a Q-tip, clean the threading until there is no gunk or residue left.

Finally, if the vape pen is not working after a charge, then it could mean that you have a faulty battery, This is especially true when it comes to disposable vapes.
